Because many native ingredients like lemon myrtle, strawberry gum, and peppermint gum are aromatic leaves and botanicals, the key to a great cup is proper steeping time and hot water. Classic hot brew
Perfect for most Bushbrews blends, our classic hot brew method is designed to bring out the best in our lemon myrtle, peppermint gum, rosella, and native herb blends.
Youโll need:
- 1 teaspoon loose leaf tea
- 1 cup (250ml) freshly boiled water
Method:
- Heat water to 95โ100ยฐC (just boiled).
- Add tea to an infuser or teapot.
- Pour hot water over the leaves.
- Cover and steep for 5โ7 minutes.
- Strain and enjoy.
Tip: Covering the cup helps trap the aromatic oils from herbs, improving flavour and aroma.

Method:
